What is Permian Health Lung Institute solving for?
Many Gambians are exposed to air pollutants and have poor lung health without knowing it; and even if they are aware, they do not have the means to have their health concerns addressed in a professional and culturally competent manner. We aim to promote lung health through innovation based on principles and initiatives targeted towards the relentless pursuit of creating value in the communities we serve.
Why the need for a Lung Institute?
We believe that every Gambian has the right to breathe clean air and have healthy lungs, and that patients with lung disease should be able to lead a good quality of life through timely access to accurate diagnostic evaluation, effective treatment modalities, and support groups.
